2 days ago i started trying out ToneLib-GFX on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04).
I had some heavy distortion with ALSA, but it worked fine using Jack.
Yesterday i played around with some of the settings (incl. audio settingts / ALSA / Jack again) when ToneLib-GFX crashed (application just closed)
Since then ToneLib-GFX doesn't start. No updates were installed and nothing changed on my computer.
When calling from commandline it takes a couple of seconds - but nothing happens. Not a single message, so no indicication what's the cause.
I tried uninstall / reinstall but without success.

Today i downloaded ToneLib-Jam just for testing and that works w/o any problem.

Any idea how to get ToneLib-GFX running again?
Maybe there's something corrupt in the configuration since the 1st crash but i didn't find any configuration files ...

The configuration files are located in the folder

    $HOME/.config/Gadwin

So you could try the command

    mv $HOME/.config/Gadwin $HOME/.config/Gadwin-old

and see if it enables you to start Tonelib-GFX again.

    Thanks.
removing the config directory did the trick.

Hello! Finally found someone who use tonelib with Ubuntu. Can you tell me please what audio interface do you use? Want to buy Scarlett 2i2, and not sure that it is a good choice

I'm using a Behringer UMC202 HD on Ubuntu. Works like a charm. I suspect Scarlett will work just as well, but I haven't tried it.

Same for me - Behringer UMC202 HD. Cheap and does what it should.
I'm using it as in- and out (headphones).

Did you guys installed any specific kernel? or I just need to plug it in and work out-of-box?

Nope, just the regular kernel (on a Dell Latitude 7270 laptop, for the record).
