Hai, i just bought Zoom G3n preset, and i have zoom g5n unit, can i use g3n preset/patch for g5n? it it compatible? can i just import in Guitar Lab? thank you
In which format did you get the patch (text, ToneLib, .zptc file, something else)? Generally, the G3n patch is not directly compatible with G5n. Not sure if the vendor supplied any description of the patch effects and parameters, then it may just be simpler to manually replicate the patch on the G5n. The effects should be compatible.
.zptc file, i can’t import it to guitarlab. another question, how about G3xn? is it G3n patch compatible to G3xn? all the patch with no effect using expression pedal. thank you
You may try to edit the G3n .zptc file in binary/hex editor (just make a backup copy first). For G5n the byte at offset 0x10 should be set to 0x01 value.
