    Hi there,

There are a lot of great patches for many models of pedals, but sometimes the patch I want does not exist for my pedal.
It would be great to have a "convert" function that can translate patches from one model to another.
Of course all models are not forward/backward compatibles, but it would be nice to have at least the main effect translated (fuzz, disco, delay, etc.), or a function that translates the main settings and shows which ones are missing/incompatible so we can finish the fine tuning manually.

You are doing a great job with ToneLib it's my fav tool for music so keep going !

Generally when the plug melts like that it gives you problems down the road. It may even kill a new switch. You can find the plug on rockauto through the catalog.

I've been looking for a good patch converter for a while, and I can totally relate to the frustration of not finding a straightforward solution. One thing that might help, aside from the usual tools like Tonelib, is to explore options outside the typical guitar software niche. Sometimes I get inspiration from unexpected places, like when I was working on a research paper and found some great resources where everyone can buy literature review online. You never know, a fresh perspective from a different field could lead to creative solutions!
