Audio Unit not working, can I force Reaper to see the VST?

Hello,

I've been trying to get ToneLib GFX working on both Ableton and Reaper. It won't load in either. They will only see the Audio Unit. Is there any way to force them to use the VST? Reaper just says it cannot load the Audio Unit.

I'm using a Mac/
