   Total newbie needing help.
   This might not be possible with G1X Four but looking to play a song starting with no effect on and kick the effect in partway through. I can only find that you can select an effect (in this case one of the pre-set patches) and play it all the way through. I want to be able to bring the effect in as and when.
   Can anyone help, please?

   The only thing I can think of is if you delete the patch before it. For Example let's say patch 20 delete make it clean tone or what ever you want and patch 21 is the one you want to use. That is the only thing I can come up with.
