"Illegal Device connected". I have got this error while trying to get the effects, maybe because the software only recognizes Zoom G1on and it needs to be modified in order to be able to recognize signature models, I suppose. The Tonelib and my computer recognize the device as "Zoom G1on-AK" so I think it is a name issue or something like that since the pedal is actually the same Zoom g1on, but with different patches. Was anyone else capable of using the software with signature models? I've seen a guy in a different thread who had the same issue and he said "Many other users of these pedal have the same problem" so I guess it's not only me.
Hi guys, Any news about Tone Lib recognising the added effects? I did the hack and I'm editing the added Fx in the unit but it could be great if we can create patches and save them in ToneLib. Nowadays I have to be careful using Tonelib because it could makes changes in my patches that uses those added fx (not recognised by the sw). I wrote to them but did not receive any answer... Thanks
The problem with Tonelib will be that we who made the hack, have not all the same effects in the device and therefore the variety will be great. But since the additional effects are all compatible to the device, you would have to get all additional possible effects in the software of Tonelib to run. Actually. But probably only Tonelib can answer that. Would be nice if this beautiful software could be extended/enriched by it. Maybe there's another answer.
Hi Bro, I second to your posts here, I have the same hack and too lazy to put all together manually what effects I got from G1on and MS50G to my MS 70CDR. These Zoom Multistomps would kill your GAS if this will come all to reality.
i still have this hack from way befor 220 i got it saved on hardives cant download off google any more so i was smart to make copys and save it on external hardive i like to run it in vertual machine for saftey reasons
Smart, though ive tried it enough times that Ive never had any issues with it. I sandboxed it the first time and after that I figured if it was creating a massive bot-net or something that other users would have also reported it by now.
no its clean thats not the issue your giveing sombody acces to your computer if they want to be cheeky
when you load it windows will ask you if you want to give it permission to make changes to you computer yes install if no no instal. yes instal in VM MACHINE you give permission to a safe partition of hard drive only and on another o.s you use only for crafty downloads from your desk top of your real computer
Every program you install on Windows asks that, this one is no different. I have two degrees in IT and Information Security and Assurance. Zoom Effect Manager is not a problem program. If there were it wouldn't be hosted on GitHub. The source code for it has been available since its beginning, along with the license to modify and distribute by someone else as long as credit it given to the original programmer. iF there was a problem with it it would have been found already, this program has been available for several years.
any ways if any one wants a copy i got 1 zoom effects manager 1.10 there is a newer version same patches realy new bling apearence version 2.0 Zoom Effect Manager
I mitigate for this by balancing the removal of effects that I don't used/don't want with the addition of the ones that I really want. I usually ends up with more space left over than I previously had. Para mitigar esto, equilibro la eliminación de efectos que no uso o no quiero con la adición de los que realmente necesito. Normalmente me sobra más espacio del que tenía antes.
