ToneLib GFX can't recognize any MIDI input device.

I am using an MVAVE Chocolate, and I have been trying to use it with ToneLib GFX, and I can assign buttons to specific controls. However, when I assign those controls to specific pedals and I push the button, nothing happens. I check to see the MIDI section of the settings, and I see that the input device is greyed out. So, I try clicking the checkbox of my MIDI device, only for GFX to not respond at all. I've probably used up a country's worth of freshwater supply asking Google Gemini for help, and nothing has been working. I've surmised that the problem only lies within Tonelib as other apps such as Amplitube 5 works fine with the MIDI controller. I am appreciative of any kind of help I can recieve. For context, I am on a Mac. Thank you!!

 

This is what it looks like. I can't select it for the life of me whatever I do. I've refreshed the Audio MIDI Setup thing very many times, and have confirmed it works through MIDI Monitor. Please help me.
