Ubuntu - ToneLib Jam freezing when switching from 3D to editor view

On ubuntu 23.04 switching from 3D view to editor view in ToneLib Jam has a chance to freeze the application. It doesn't happen all the time, but you can 'force' this issue to occur if you switch views repeatedly in quick succession.

The application will become 'semi-responsive', where you can still click and interact with buttons, but the graphics inside the application's window will not update and only displays the last thing shown in the 3D view.
