Hello everyone. I've been trying to cover one of my favourite songs, Building The Church by Steve Vai.I could play it with just distortion and delay but it just doesn't sound right. It sounds horrible with any of the wah/whammy combinations I've tried. It's an expensive song to cover (Gear wise) Anyone have any insight or suggestion on what might sound good? What effects to use? Thank you.
