TL DistRaptor has two interface display modes, allowing you to set up the most convenient plugin workspace for the task at hand.

Fullscreen Mode

TL DistRaptor - Compact Rack display mode

Rack mode allows you to hide the frequency spectrum graph and shrink the TL DistRaptor's screen down to rack size. This mode enables you to make the most efficient use of the DistRaptor's workspace. In this mode you will find all the essential plug-in controls in a compact form. It is ideal for initial rough adjustments and for applications that do not require precise frequency monitoring and fine-tuning. Multiple scaling modes can be useful when selecting the optimal size of the plug-in's interface for your display. You can also monitor the signal at specific frequencies on a more compact graph right on the rack.

TL DistRaptor - Full-Screen Interface mode

Full-screen mode transforms the plugin window into an enhanced frequency spectrum graph, allowing you to easily monitor the plugin's performance. The real-time visualisation of the input/output allows you to see exactly what changes you have made when adjusting a particular parameter, making it much easier to work with the plugin. In this mode, the input signal waveform is displayed on the Rack Monitor.

Gain Control

Select one of 4 Gain modes, each with its own unique tonal character. Adjust the amount of gain from slight overdrive to aggressive distortion. The gain knob's superb dynamics and response allow you to achieve significant effects even at the edge values. Choose how much sustain you want for your drive tone. Boost Mids feature brings the mids to the fore, while Rampage Mode adds an extra gain stage to take each of the 4 gain modes to a whole new level.

Tone Stack

Voice, Clang, and Sharpness controls give you advanced options for customizing the drive's character. Determine its overall timbre, the amount of metallic buzz in the mix, and how muffled or transparent the tone should be. Bright switch easily emphasises the upper and lower frequency extremes, making the tone brighter and more intense.

Built-in Filters

Built-in high/low pass filters provide an easy way to adjust extreme frequencies. With just two knobs, you can tailor the DistRaptor's tone to your specific needs and seamlessly integrate the processed signal into your mix. Make-Up knob allows you to set the optimum volume level for the resulting signal.

Advanced Oversampling

Advanced oversampling mode allows you to achieve the highest audio quality when working with the plug-in, while making efficient use of your computer's resources. By adjusting the Oversampling Factor/Mode settings, you can select the optimal oversampling parameters for real-time signal processing. Meanwhile, separate Render Mode settings allow you to increase the oversampling factor for offline signal processing. This way you can achieve a stunning final result even on slower processors.

No DAW? No Problem! TL DistRaptor comes in both VST and Standalone formats, so you don't necessarily need a DAW to utilize all its features.
