I tried ToneLib-Jam. The potential has not been revealed and the developers are doing some nonsense. The first thing I tried was to add a guitar rig 7 to the track. It's added in the plugins, but I can't find it in the effects. It seems to me that the developers did this on purpose so that the user is forced to use their sound amplifier, and not a third-party one. And then I also discovered that you can’t use multiple effects on different tracks. Who does this? Each instrument in a track should have its own set of effects, and not one for all. Do developers generally use other programs? It seems to me that the main problem with your product is that you are reinventing the wheel rather than giving people what they want. Let me explain. I love Rocksmith 2014, but I don't like that I can't use it to write music. There is also an inconvenient learning system. Your program only provides the 3D mode from there, but not the gameplay. OK. I love Guitar Pro. A very convenient program for writing tablature. Why are you trying to reinvent something that already exists is unclear. But I don't like that I can't use the guitar rig, audio tracks, third party effects, curved automation line and convenient pedal system (You need to create a separate track for the new pedal) in it. This program is designed for learning and writing tablature, but I want to immediately hear what the final track will sound like. In theory, your program could provide all this, but it does not. And what's the point? To professionally compose tracks, you can use a DAW bundle and some plugin like Ample Sound Guitars. But writing tablature in it is inconvenient. Written language is more difficult than spoken language. The same applies to music. To write good music, you must use the written language of tablature, not piano rolls or audio waves. My ideal tool: Cockos Reaper with the sound of Ample Sound Guitars, Ezdrummer and Guitar Rig, but with the ability to conveniently write tablature like in Guitar Pro. I'm also very upset that Ubisoft killed Rocksmith. My ideal game: an annual release of games in the spirit of Guitar Hero, but with real guitars. But only if it was an entertaining product: a garage atmosphere, a simulation of a rock star’s career, a cutscenes career story, a thematic set of songs, achievements. Once at year a game comes out: you enjoy the adventure and wait to see what the developers will delight you with next year. But now Rocksmith is just a base for playing tablature. This is not an adventure or entertainment product. In theory, ToneLib could plug all these holes and satisfy guitarists, but instead you are reinventing the wheel and providing a cut-down version of what is already on the market. I wish the authors to consider my wishes.
