Hello all, I've been using ToneLib-Zoom for quite some time now, mostly to make backups of effects on my 2 pedals B1Four & G1Four, all of this on a Linux box with Wine (with openSuse Leap 15.6 if that matters) and with no issues so far. But lately, I tried to do the same thing, and it won't work: the pedal is recognized, if I scan or rescan for devices, the pedal switches to "PC mode" for a few seconds, but then ToneLib-Zoom display an error message saying "Error - Unable to read "Zoom B1four" presets" (or "Unable to read "Zoom G1four" presets, depending on the connected pedal). So ToneLib-Zoom sees see the pedal, it sees what kind of pedal it is, it does try to read the presets, but for some reason, it fails. Both my pedals have the latest firmware (v2.00 for both). ToneLib-Zoom is v4.3.1, which is the latest as far as I know. I did try to look at what ToneLib-Zoom/wine prints while running, but I couldn't see anything relevant to the problem I have. Any hints on what might happen here? It used to work, it's really strange. I could use another computer to save my presets, but my Linux box is my main machine to make music, so I'd really prefer to use that one for my preset backups too.
Answering to myself: solved. The solution was just to stop using the Windows version via Wine, but to use the Linux-native version, and it worked like a charm! I actually didn't know there was a Linux version now, which is really great!
