*PLEASE READ* A work in progress - not particularly an easy effect to recreate. I created this using a Jazzmaster with the NECK PICKUP ONLY for a warm tone, and it sounds pretty awesome. Effect is based on picking style - harder equals more effect. I'm leaning towards the sound from the 1977 shows. I haven't tested this on a Strat style configuration, so please don't fault me if it sounds off. I'll get around to creating one for that style at some point. I don't really see any Jerry patches, so I hope this helps if anyone is looking.
