    Hello,

I'm starting to look into a software since my good old zoom 2020 died and my amp has been given me some issues lately. Since I' coming from the old world with effects and amps, I'd like to switch to a software and a couple of solid speakers for my computer. My question is: In order to connect my guitar to my computer, do I need one of these?:

    https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0BBN
    https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0198
    https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0AVV

Do all of these provide power to guitar? (I'm assuming yes)
Which one you'd recommend? I'm looking for good sound quality but nothing professional, just good clean sound.

    Thanks in advance!!!

You're going to need some kind of digital interface. Out of the ones you linked, I'd probably go with the UM2 as it's still relatively inexpensive and has some advantages: you get the option of plugging in a mic or second instrument if/when you need it, and it allows you to continue using regular guitar cables (which will be far cheaper to replace than those USB adapter ones when the connectors eventually wear out). I don't have any experience with Behringer interfaces, but since you're not looking for pro quality I think budget ones like these will serve you well, at least as a starting point.

As far as power, I don't know what kind of guitar you're working with, but I'm pretty sure you don't have anything to worry about. Guitar cables don't carry power.

Best of luck to you! You might find that you rarely miss your "real" amp:cool:
