Hey folks, I use my G1Xfour as a foot pedal on stage. Literally between my guitar and amp (Gibson 335 and Fender 30w) I just got tired of 15 pedals on stage! I am looking for some simple ways to create (for me) useful patches for simple tones. I'm looking for such simple things as a Mike Cambell Light distortion sound, a Peter Buck jangly tone, a clean Elvis Costello sound. Problem is, I don't want to use any of the amp/cabinet presets in the chain. I want to use the sound and tone of my current amp/cabinet but add one patch (say 50, that I make up) as if it were a line of pedals. I can't get it to sound loud enough, let alone clean enough, to get anywhere near those types of sounds. They are all WAY too overdriven when I do!
