Suggestion: Improve Tuner Support for Sub-Bass Tunings

  1. Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Tonelib GFX v4.78 for a while and really enjoy its sound quality and interface. However, I’d like to suggest an improvement for the built-in tuner.

Right now, it seems the tuner doesn’t detect notes accurately when tuning to very low frequencies, such as E0 or F#0 — which are common in extended-range bass or sub-heavy setups. It would be great if the team could extend the tuner’s frequency range to support these lower tunings.

In modern metal, guitars are often tuned down into the same range as a standard bass, which pushes bass players to explore even lower tunings or use extra-long scale instruments. Expanding the tuner’s range would make Tonelib GFX better suited for these modern tuning practices.

    Thanks for considering this suggestion!
