Protect your speakers a bit against unwanted extreme frequencies and peaks with this sort of high and low pass filter and a smooth compression.
It reduces frequencies from 20 to 32 Hz and from 12 to 20 Khz by -12 dB. I hope it will clean your sound if your amp doesn't do it already.
