Greetings everyone, I have encountered an issue while utilizing tonelib as a VST plugin within GarageBand. The guitar sounds lack power, appearing dull and occasionally fluctuating. However, when I launch the standalone tonelib application, the guitar sounds vibrant, fresh, and perfect. Unfortunately, when I minimize the app, the sound disappears, preventing me from using it for recording purposes in GarageBand or any similar software. Therefore, I have two inquiries: 1. What could be the cause of this problem? (I encounter the same issue with Reaper, Logic, and GarageBand.) 2. Is there a method to use the standalone tonelib application for recording without relying on it as a VST plugin within the aforementioned software?
I record using the standalone all the time, just routing the stereo outs from ToneLibGFX into the track in my daw. But I'm on Linux, and can't help with signal routing on a Mac.
