Hello everyone, I have a question. When I connect the Zoom G1x Four to the amp input (no FX LOOP), besides turning off the mic on the cab sim, should I also turn off the amplifier emulation? Or does it not matter if I leave it on when turning off the mic on the cab sim? Regards!

It all depends on your preferences. If you like your amp's tone (from the cab you like) and just want that, than there's nothing to model. Otherwise, the whole set of features/effects of G1X FOUR can be used to color your output tone the way you like.
In other words you can try the whole patch as is through your amp and cab, then compare to MIC:Off, CAB:Off, AMP:Off etc.

If you like the tone as is thru headphones, I’d suggest using a very clean amp & settings; otherwise your amp will colour the tone.
For example, you if you push your amp then the combined tone may sound terrible.

Further to my earlier post; I’d suggest using a very clean amp or an FRFR cabinet. That way the tone from the G1X will not be coloured.
    Good luck ck
